It's a challenge for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The greatest achievements have been successfully scaled.

We're talking about the team that has won seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to an additional six T20 titles, and once went 1,294 days without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, those for the peak baggers, are all that remain for a team that has achieved everything.

That it took up to Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to complete their first ODI chase over 300, taking back their record for the largest in the women's 50-over format, is, frankly, a compliment to the bowling attack that have sported the yellow jersey over the last half-century.

It's difficult for their batsmen to hold a record if not provided the possibility.

In the end, the result of Australia allowing 330 runs was leader Alyssa Healy getting a chance to create her newest gem.

Originally famous as the young family member of celebrated previous Aussie wicketkeeper Ian, she first played in 2010 after her nation failed to win either of the T20 or ODI World Cups from the prior year and has experienced everything through 15 successful years since.

A T20 championship victory happened three months after her debut and seven international trophies have followed from 10 attempts across formats.

One run resulted off Gaud's first delivery and from there Healy was underway.

"An opportunity to take the field and engage in competition with her and simply enjoy myself that way, somewhat inspired me," commented Healy.

She achieved fifty in 35 pitches - her fastest at the World Cup - and her ton in 84 deliveries while she flogged anything short, striking 21 boundaries and three big hits.

By the time she was removed Australia required another 66 at one run per ball - an unconquered height now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Chasing 330 runs is new territory so I'm happy we have the confidence to do that now," added Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it again but, if necessary, we know we can succeed."

That comment will be the ultimate thing competing nations at this championship need to hear.

In recent days a feeling they will win from any position has grown stronger - this success coming after success over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite struggling at 76-7 at one stage.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a meeting with traditional opponents England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final berth may well be secure.

During that phase they exited the prior year's T20 World Cup in a shock defeat by South Africa - a match Healy couldn't play because of damaged tissue in her foot as she guided Australia for the first time at a significant event.
